1. We do not sell or share your personal information
Emote Pack AI does not sell your personal information for money or other valuable consideration and does not share your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. We have not done so in the prior 12 months and have no plans to start.
Because there is no sale or sharing to opt out of, this page is the entirety of the "opt-out" mechanism — there is no toggle to flip. If we ever change this position, we will:
- Update this page first, with a clear "what changed" notice.
- Add a working opt-out mechanism (toggle or signal processor — Global Privacy Control respected by default).
- Email affected users and require fresh acceptance before any sale or sharing occurs.
2. Categories of personal information we collect
Itemised here for the CCPA "right to know" requirement. The same information lives in our Privacy Policy in less formal prose.
- Identifiers — email address, display name, user id, IP address (request logs only).
- Internet activity — pages viewed within Emote Pack AI, aggregate analytics (page-view counts, no cross-site tracking).
- Commercial information — subscription state, token balance, generation history.
- Visual information you upload — subject images, held in memory during a generation request and not persisted. The resulting emote PNGs are stored against your account until you delete them.
- Inferences — none. We do not build behavioural profiles.
We do not knowingly collect "sensitive personal information" as defined under CPRA except to the extent a subject image might depict it (race, ethnicity, health information visible in a photo). Sensitive personal info we do incidentally receive is used only to provide the service — never for inferring characteristics. You may limit the use of sensitive personal information at any time by deleting the relevant packs or your account.
3. Your other CCPA rights
- Right to know — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. Use the Download my data button on Settings (signed-in users) or email hello@emotepack.ai.
- Right to delete — delete your account and all associated data from the Profile page (Danger zone) or by email.
- Right to correct — update display name, email, password, theme, avatar from the Profile and Settings pages.
- Right to non-discrimination — exercising any of these rights will not affect the service or price you receive.
4. Authorised agents
You may designate an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf. We will require written proof of authorisation (signed by you, the consumer) and may additionally ask you to verify your own identity before processing the request. Email the request to hello@emotepack.ai.
5. Global Privacy Control
We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals on browsers that send them. Because we do not currently engage in sale or sharing, a GPC signal does not change our processing — but if we ever begin to sell or share, GPC will be treated as a valid opt-out automatically.
